All area veterans are invited to ride on a float in the 96th Morgantown Memorial Parade at 1:30 p.m. May 17. The parade line-up will be at 12:30 p.m. on Mulberry St. in Morgantown, one block north of Washington Street. The float is sponsored by Morgantown United Methodist Church.

The Monrovia Jazz Band will present Swing into Spring, a dinner concert at Monrovia Elementary School, on Friday and Saturday. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6 p.m. There will be music and dancing from 7 to 9 p.m. You can hear music from the Big Band/Glenn Miller era.
