Mike Allen, Gordon Hassman, Mark Reiland and Tolly Thompson are among six inductees to the Glen Brand Wrestling Hall of Fame at the Dan Gable International Wrestling Institute and Museum. The Class of 2010 will be inducted during a ceremony April 17 at the DGIWIM, beginning at 1 p.m.

"If a law gets passed that doesn't affect everyone equally, then it gets looked at by the law, not by what you are taught in church or at home," said Marty Elberg, an attorney from Eagle Grove. "It's what the law says." On April 3, 2009, the Supreme Court of Iowa ruled, through a unanimous decision, that gay and lesbian couples could marry in Iowa.
