LORDSBURG The Lordsburg High School boys track and field team captured the New Mexico State Track and Field Championship in Class 2A last week its first since 1996. Drama unfolded at the very end, as the title wasn t decided until the last relay. -

SILVER CITY — One of Lordsburg s biggest sporting events will take place Saturday and Sunday. The third annual Jessie Darnell 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament will invade Maverick Gym at Lordsburg High School, and feature teams from Silver City, Deming, Las Cruces, Animas and Arizona. -
