GREEN SPRINGS, Ohio - Claude E. Young, 77, co-founder of a plastic parts manufacturer who was a leader in civic and Masonic groups, died Tuesday in St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee, of apparent heart failure. The J.F. Bernard Co., located in Akron, will complete the heating, ventilating and air-conditioning portion of the new facility.

Meeting Friday morning, Clyde-Green Springs Exempted Village School board members awarded the contracts for the new Green Springs Elementary School construction and approved the construction documents submitted for Clyde High School additions and renovations. After interviewing contractors, Bostleman + G. Stephens and the Buehrer Group recommended ACI Construction Co. Inc.
