School Reviews

This school has gone through a lot of changes over the many years that my kid has been at Harmony/Salmon Creek. The teachers care a lot about the kids, the school provides a lot of Social Emotional support as well as academic support for those struggling or with different learning styles. The place-based curriculum is awesome, the campus amazing with many acres of diverse ecosystems, and the extracurriculars are gaining momentum and strength. We''ve found the administration and the teachers to be solid and supportive. Anyone who wants to be involved with the school can have an active voice and be able to enter into an active dialogue to come to mutual understanding and progress. Of course with every school, there are things you don't like, but overall, I would give this school a strong thumbs up for all that it offers academically, socially, and emotionally for my kiddos.

This school is incompetent when it comes to it's treatment of single-mothers. If you are a single-mother of a boy, or girl, be prepared to be ostracized, and watch your child be singled-out for 'behavioral issues'... even as young as in Kindergarten. They are completely clueless as to the struggle of single parents and they will begin immediately targeting your child in preparation to label him/her; usually with the parents leaving out of pressure and fear. Be warned.
