Sylvandale is becoming one of the better schools in San Jose. They have improved safety at the school and have programs that teach valuable skills to students in a fun and caring school community. The school has most major sports, dances, and electives. They have a few after-school programs that are really good, like the after-school robotics program and a program teaching computer science. The school has gotten much better over the last couple of years. Parents are involved, and the school really cares about the kids.
