School Reviews
5 1/11/2007
My daughter started at Corporate Landing Middle this year, she is in fifth grade. I have nothing but good things to report about this school. The teachers are involved individually in the student's academics. They also do a great job at the beginning of the year explaing everything to the students and parents. They make the transition very smooth from elementary to middle.
Also, two very big thumbs up to the band. The band instructor, Mr. Reed--- very awesome at what he does! My daughter is in band for the first time this year, and we attended the holiday band concert, it was GREAT! That is definitely a job for a few "chosen ones".
So anyway, great school, very, very nice, highly recommend from a newcomer to the area.

However, some argue that not only are these punishments physically harmful, they also are disproportionately administered to students of color. As a result, House democrats have taken up the issue in a new bill that would ban all forms of corporal punishment nationwide.
