School Reviews

My youngest child attended Kelsey Peak Virtual for 2 years. We love the staff and other students. The classes were great. We were particularly impressed with the curriculum for their Creative Coding and Python 1 courses. At the same time, our 7th grader took Creative Coding at Kelsey Peak, and our high-schooler took a Programming course at another online school (not Kings Peak - but we will not name which school it was). It was so funny to see the difference. The course our high schooler took looked like it was designed for elementary students. We did not complain, but it was amazing - the difference between the two classes. We loved Kelsey Peak (and also Kings Peak, Jordan School District''s online high school). We would recommend both to any family where parents are available to help students stay caught up with homework. There was not a lot of homework (I''d say about half the homework that we would have had in our local brick-and-mortar school). The teachers were wonderful to work with. Online learning was a good experience for us (and the best thing to come out of the pandemic). =D
