School Reviews

5   2/28/2012
I attended Elgin Public Schools for 10 years out of my life, after my parents opted myself and my older brother out of the Neligh school district. In Neligh, my brother failed English 10, and in Elgin, my brother passed both English 10 and 11 with A's in the first year at Elgin. His teacher at that time has returned to the school as the English teacher as well. If any parent is looking into opting your children into Elgin, I would go for YES! The administration has changed since I was there, so I am not sure on that, but I do know that when my brother and I attended, the staff there made an extreme effort to make sure that children with attention deficit disorder were treated as others, and if medication was to be dispursed, it was done (unlike Neligh). I hope I have the opportunity to send my future children to Elgin!
