School Reviews
5 1/25/2011
Our son started kindergarten in the fall and we are very happy with the school. We can not compare it to anything but we are amazed at how much he has learned in just 4 month and most importantly for us he is enjoying school and feels at home.
The school has a new principal. She started at the beginning of the school year 2009/10. She took over a school with a lot of problems and has made a lot of progress in creating an entirely new school. Active parents are welcomed and appreciated. There is much space for ideas and implementation.
The school has dual language programs in French and Spanish. Enrichment classes are computer, music & movement, science, social studies, library, swimming and soon art. There is a free after school program.
The facility is phenomenal. Big sunny classrooms, science lab, computer lab, library, art room, swimming pool, gym, an auditorium and a cafeteria. The school is across from Morning Side Park.
We find the teachers qualified, class sizes are small and the student body diverse. In our opinion an excellent school option for Upper Manhattan. PS 125, Ralph Bunche School is a choice school, which means it admits student from across the city.

No art program, no gym, swimming classes only when we are informed, low level of involvment from parent, administration is not working with parent..definetely not a school to be recommended. I am taking my children away next year.
