My daughter goes to this school, so I am talking from personal experience. This school offers good academic programs, music, art programs and for extra activities the principal and the PTA body tries to get parents involve with programs like dad's club, boy scout and they are currently working on having a club for girls, movie night etc.
Every first friday of each month we have parent as learning partners with this opportunity it allows me to see what is taught and how it is taught. I went to one and help my daughter bake in class and that was from a book the class had read.
The principal has her head grounded and tries her atmost best to ensure that these kids are level, dont think that everything is all smooth sailing its a process and its working.
I make sure I lend my support.
