I adore this school my children have been in this school for years they are currently in the 3rd and 4th grade. They are strict, adamant and makes sure that parent involvement is deep and that no child gets life behind. They are respectful, great with communication (whatever is convenient for you text, email, phone call etc) and make sure that each student strives for the best. Discipline and focus is needed for success and they do just that. My daughters are definitely above grade-level in reading, math and several subjects. Sometimes im shocked at their level of intelligence and accuracy. To be honest, no school is perfect and I definitely couldn't ask for more. To those questioning the schools' success just measure it to a public school - there is no comparison from the students to the teachers. They have some of the highest scores city and statewide. I love this school and I definitely recommend it if you want your child to strive for greatness.

This school focuses on their reputation more than teaching or building the children confidence and self-esteem. They operate military-style and put every child in the same box. Every child is different and so is his or her learning style. Test scores are important but making sure the kids are actually learning is also important. Based on what I observed kids are learning out of fear for consequences if they messed up not out of love of learning. In my opinion, this school system is still in the process of trial and error. Hopefully, they find something that works for the children noticing the difference in every one of them. For example, my kid gets punished for being cramped up after sitting in a yoga post for a long period of time. Taking the sweater off in class for being hot and not crossing or interlocking your hands are misbehaving and get consequences. You''re dealing with children and they need to build trust in their teachers.
