The best school in Ohio.
1 3/26/2020
This school used to be a very good school. Each year for the past 3 to 4 years they have had 4 different principals, several teachers have left over the years not include the 20 plus teachers who left 2019. The 4th grade did not have but 1 permanent teacher who had over 30 kids in his classroom, the title 1 teachers had to fill in until recently when they finally hired their last teacher. This school is hiring inexperienced teachers and some teachers that have been there for 1-2 years still do not know how to handle normal behavior and send home emails a lot about talking, getting out of their seat and also do not know how to keep a kids attention when teaching except by thinking they should learn by the kid just listening. Parents have gone to address several concerns with the new principal who has told some parents to go find a new school instead of looking into how the teachers are with their students academically and socially. Teachers are not always right so there should be some room to learn. How can you run a school when the principal has no experience being a teacher in a public school setting. This school focuses on preparing your kid for the state test only and piles so much work on these elementary kids which is so overwhelming. This is why I pulled my kids. My kids need to be in an environment that is not only focused on passing a state test!
