The parents and staff of Soldotna Middle School believe that learning is enhanced in an atmosphere that expresses concern for the individual and acceptance of the student as a person of worth. In this atmosphere, with instruction designed to arouse curiosity and develop skills, many kinds of growth become possible: moral, social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and creative/self-expressive. Soldotna Middle School staff strives to work with home and community to develop in each student the knowledge of how to learn and to foster in their students an appreciation of this knowledge and how it relates to their future.
