Amazing school with an amazing staff. Just wait until you meet the principal. She is young but tough and nice. I feel lucky that my kids can go here. All the students know when they will graduate from college. There used to be problems but everything is great now. You should send your kids here!

Holabird Academy is a BCPSS school for college bound students in grade PreK-6. The adminstration is professional, caring, and deeply motivated. The school is in need of some improvements but the dedicated community and staff are actively pursuing new windows and there should be a new playground with in the next year. There is a Gifted and Talented program, Fine Arts Classes, Instrumental music, and 2 computer labs. Please make an appointment to visit a class or just come by to see the progress we have made.

Teachers in 19 States Allowed to Physically Punish Students
As of 2014, nineteen states still allow corporal punishment – spanking and paddling the most common choices – in their public schools. However, some argue that not only are these punishments physically harmful, they also are disproportionately administered to students of color.
