Now that Gilpin is moving to Montessori, things are looking up for the school. The Montessori teachers are doing amazing things for the children. The only real problem I have with the school is the principal,Cathy Gonzales. She seems a bit two faced, and also doesn't seem supportive of Montessori (I feel bad for the Montessori teachers that have to deal with her apparent lack of support). If she doesn't believe in the program, I believe she is short changing our children. Hopefully the district will replace her with a Montessori trained principal.
