Mattawan is a great school which has received high marks in all categories, art, sports, and academics. Its arts programs are one of the many things that Mattawan is inernationally recognized for, the band and chours programs are unmatched. Mattawan is known for its exceptional softball team which has been ranked best in the nation, they met the president last year. Mattawan's soccer programs are also well above average and usually finish within the top three in the state. Mattawan's lacrosse program is exceptional all around. The academics make Mattawan in the top ten schools in the country. The school is a safe, clean, and friendly learning enviornment. The facilities are top notch and the teachersb are first rate. They strive to make the students succeed. The level of parent involvement in this comunity is astonishing, they care for one another and love the school and the community.

There are too few buildings to support the number of students, and much of the faculty is sub-par. The music program is one of the best in the entire nation - but where will music get you in life unless you're already rich? Athletics are average.
